Analogue features: 2 Nine-Volt Alkaline PP3  Batteries, on/off switch, press and release run/test button on hand-held meter, switchable 0-50 or 0-100 CIV scale.

Digital Features: 2 Nine-Volt Alkaline PP3 Batteries, single on/reset button held depressed during test on hand-held meter, 0-100 CIV scale.

DHM Features: 1 miniature 12-volt Alkaline Battery (eg Energizer A23), single on/reset button, press and release, 0-100 CIV scale.

GTM Features: 1 Nine-volt Alkaline PP3 Battery, single on/reset button, press and release, meter attached to guide tube, 0-100 CIV scale.

Series 95 Features: 1 Nine-Volt Alkaline PP3 Battery, single on/reset button, press and release, meter clips to guide tube, 0-100 CIV scale.

Series 88 Features: 1 Nine-Volt Alkaline PP3 Battery, single on/reset button held depressed during test on hand-held meter, 10-70 CIV scale for the standard hammer, 0-500 Gmax scale for the lighter hammers can be specificfied instead.  (As of October 2000, a scale of 0-100 CIV can be specified instead.)
